Get to know the non-invasive and supportive modalities used at SALT OF THE EARTH SKIN….
FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY
Certain points of the body are “reflected” in fixed points on the face. These reflex points, also referred to as living points in Dien Chan Multireflexology, are sensitive to the touch of what is known as a detector tool. This tool and other facial reflexology tools gently send a message to the areas of the brain that control your nervous system, individual organs, body systems, and stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow in a non-invasive manner. These points aren’t necessarily connected directly the parts of the body, but rather stimulating them activates the part of the brain that regulates the automatic functions of the corresponding areas of the body.
Facial Reflexology relaxes the entire nervous system and easily puts you in a meditative state that greatly improves relaxation, restoration, and changes the brain waves from ones of stress to ones of creativity and flow.
Regular treatments actually train the nervous system to stay in a state of balance instead of a state of stress! Customized treatments can also help with:

FASCIA RELEASE OF THE CHEST, NECK, SHOULDERS, AND FACE
The fascia, or connective tissue, forms bands/sheaths that support muscles, blood vessels, and nerves in the body. It is what forms the structure of the entire body, and it connects bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons, and provides support for blood vessels, nerves, and lymph nodes.
This fascia can get stuck and limit lymph movement, cause structural problems leading to pain, makes the skin weak and loose, and lead to wrinkles, sagging, and drooping. Tight fascia can lead to a double chin, “turkey neck”, and congestion, causing acne, dull skin, and even hyperpigmentation.
Holding our bodies in unusual positions such as looking down and hunching the shoulders causes fascia to form adhesions to hold your muscles in these positions limiting lymph, blood, nervous system signals, and putting your body out of alignment. The body thinks it is helping, when in reality, it is actually causing further damage.
LED
LED works by emitting light in different wavelengths / spectrums from nearly 3000 individual lights. Different colors reach various depths in the skin to achieve targeted results.
Blue (470nm)
Is known to target sebaceous glands to reduce cytokines which cause inflammation and chronic acne. Blue light however, when directed at a specific wavelength, will stimulate the production of oxygen radicals to kill Cutibacterium acnes bacteria without damaging the skin.
Green (525nm)
Targets the melanin producing cell called the Melanocyte to lighten hyperpigmentation (dark spots). Also, reduces damaged capillaries from inflammatory skin disorders such as rosacea and peri-oral dermatitis.
Yellow (590nm)
Stimulates lymphatic flow encouraging detoxification and boosting immune health. Symptoms such as puffiness, congestion, acne, wrinkles, dryness, and irritation are significantly reduced.
Red (640nm)
Reaches the deepest layers of the skin, stimulating fibroblast activity which supports the connective tissue, accelerates wound healing, and encourages ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) production within the mitochondria of the cells for optimal functioning and health.

FACIAL CUPPING
Facial cupping uses gentle negative pressure on the skin using a silicone or glass facial cup. This suction draws blood flow towards the surface of your skin. This increased blood flow in the skin underneath the cup and surrounding tissues encourages the formation of new blood vessels. The suction also creates a controlled mini-trauma in the skin (in the same way as micro-needling and derma-rollers would), which prompts a natural healing process in the skin. More oxygenated blood flows to the area, collagen and fibroblast production is stimulated, and the skin cells are encouraged to reproduce.
Facial cupping …
· Brightens the skin
· Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
· Boosts collagen production
· Stimulates the lymphatic system
· Promotes news oxygen-rich blood circulation
· Reduces puffiness
· …and much more!
Contraindications
· Botox and Fillers
· Thin skin that bruises easily
· Open wounds, skin lesions, sores, or burns on the face and/or neck
· Skin cancer
· Rosacea
